WHAT IF HAYES: JASIIRA VILLAGE

Our first meeting in Hayes was at this restaurant. We raced across london in Snails pace traffic for 3 hours from South East London only for our laptop to stop working. Luckily we got it working and the rather enthusiastic shop owners in Hayes queued up afterwards for a chat. We helped ourselves to some of the fantastic food that was on offer. If you are in the area and you want to try Somalian food we highly recommend this place. The food is excellent and the owner one of the most welcoming guys you could wish to meet.

But once again the presentation outside doesn’t do them justice:

But what if:

The new sign is based on Islamic patterned tiles, is handpainted with new bo-fold doors so they can open it up and use the pavement in the summer with simple window graphics and a blackboard in between the doors to display any special offers. Simple awnings complete the design. There is the option of using gold leaf.

Here is a close up:

This would be a brilliant transformation!! I really like the tiles that run along the bottom of the windows. That would be a massive change!!
